Wagahai, the cat

A snarky, playable cat I wanted living on my website, something that would humour people and pull them in. It started from the Neko desktop pets, which someone brought to JavaScript, and I gave it the personality of the cat in Sōseki's I Am a Cat. When I showed it to friends, they either loved it, found it distracting and unnecessary, or the jokes went over their heads and I had to explain them. So it got shelved. Here it gets its second life.
